Yep it is an 8' bed. Only thing to make it bigger is duals. It is soooooo stable towing the trailer. I just love the long trucks.
I test drove an 04 durmax 4door 8' bed. I loved the power it had put the dmn truck will not fit in my garage. It would be a pain in the ars to back into a parking spot also.

Naw, you get over that by just taking two parking spaces - they make em too small anyways - now to avoid the pissed off people then keying your car for taking two spaces you park far away -- that is good exercise there.

I pulled my 43 footer with one just like it with no problems at all. I got the dually now just for the extra tires on the road.

it seems to me I saw a trailer/toyhauler/mobile hotel/bar down at the dunes with oak book shelves seceret compartments and oh ya a wet bar! I am not sure who owned it  ??? but I would be willing to bet it's heavier than the 44fter.  ;D

you what is really sad is right before that tornado came through I had my trailer parked up against the evergreens to try and protect some of it from the hail and I parked my truck facing the storm ( full coverage) you couldn't hardly tell the hail hit the truck! the same hail that left 3" holes in my siding and blasted my trailer and totaled dunebounds out! that '92 steel body really held up.  :o
