Its a real boost to to the war on terror. Glad to see we wern't chaseing a ghost who died years ago. While I'm sure the are recruiting newby terrorist faster than we can run 'em down, I only hope the CIA is not training them still?

Only one question I have.. How come nobody has posted a pic of the body yet? They showed pics of his sons, and they were bloody and gory after their deaths, why no pic of the marksmanship of our military? I wanna see the pics!!!

HHmmmmm gas prices keep going up, economy is still in the toilet, lets give the people something. Pull the Osama body out of the freezer and announce we got him. OK OK take 2 pics of him in case the Wikileaks people get a hold of this, make sure they are fuzzy and dump him in the ocean. Ha it worked...... people are dancing in the streets......subject changed for a few days!!

There really is nothing of value to go back to the moon. We only did it in the first place as a show of technical superiority over the Russians.
The primary reason that the Moon hoax theory has gained so much traction lately is the younger generations can't fathom the idea that such an undertaking could have been done without today's technology. They look at the dramatic increase in technology in recent years then reverse it at the same rate back to the 60s. The thing is, I can use the same argument as to why it is absurd to think it was faked. There are thousands of hours of film footage from the moon. There is footage not only from the original landing, but the significant work done during subsequent landings. With today's technology and ability to analyze this footage, it would be possible to find every editing flaw, everything that does not follow the laws of physics. If you pause the original release of The Empire Strikes Back while a snow speeder is passing a Walker, you can see the walker's leg through the window pillar of the speeder. Yet we are to believe a decade earlier, thousands of hours of fake moon video was created which exceeds the capabilities of Hollywood even today.
The Osama thing does seem odd though. There are a few possible reasons for a cover up that would not bother me: The body showed obvious signs of torture and they did not want that revealed. He was captured, not killed and he is being tortured now. He was killed somewhere else. Examination would have shown a discrepancy in time of death. Other countries would have had an issue killing his family after killing him elsewhere.

As I read the additional articles that are coming out and what Obama has said about this, I think the Obama 2012 campaign felt this was the perfect time, not just before election. It is looking like they will get the desired results as well. The work seems to be aimed at making a dramatic perception change which can then be built upon from now up until the election. The timing of the crap at the border to make people think he turned things around there then the release of the birth certificate and suddenly a news event that makes you drop any question about those. I read an article today where they said special forces have been practicing the raid on a mockup of the location. That sounds like this has been in the works for quite some time. So everything Obama has done within the last several months has been done with the knowledge he would have this news item coming up. I have always been under the impression that the moment the location of a target like this is known, the intelligence is acted upon before the target can move. In this case, it was delayed supposedly to practice, but conveniently until the Obama 2012 campaign kickoff.

One of the news agencies said this morning it was changed from a missile strike at the end of last year to a raid so there would be proof of his death.
It still kills me that a news agency can set up an appointment and send a reporter in to do an interview but the Gazillion dollars of technology our Government uses everyday couldn't keep tabs on him......

Special forces are ready to carry out any mission at any time without practice. If that's not the case they aren't special.

Well sort of. They are trained to make the best possible decisions under all circumstances. They would be fools to run blind into an unknown situation.

Sometimes that can't be avoided but yes ,given the choice, I agree. In this case capturing/killing him should take priority.

A friend of mine was talking to one of the soldiers in the unit that got him. It didn't seem like it was done at that specific time but a week or two earlier. He couldn't say anything until in came out in the news.

I never thought they were that tough. Guess I will have to reevaluate that position?
