my local specialty machine shop has every machine imaginable, just got a new edm machine.. but doesnt have laser cutter..     455 bird.. 13/16 21 spline sounds like ag size.

Actually 13/16 sounds way small for 21 spline AG...

Can ANYONE clue us in on HOW THE HELL splines are specified? I haven't found anything universal. Is there such a thing?

yea!!!  they go by rpm for ag uses.. 500 rpm spline is like the bigger 6 spline.. 1000rpm is from 19 splines(really old) to 21 spline now.. and so on. your 500 rpm is your tractor side pto.
