I just got off the phone with KING (after 2 hours) about my shocks and I'm much happier now. ;D ;D ;D  The guy I talked to the first time named Mike (F##K FACE) , basically told me to go f##k myself and there was nothing he would do about my air shock flying apart after only 30 hours of ride time. I wanted to pull him through the phone and kick
Tonight I talked to Bret and he is going to do a warranty claim for me. There is some up graded parts for both my shocks and the parts for my broke shock are all coming free of charge! The only thing I have to pay for is, .my new valving and one seal kit. Bret took the time to explain the different valving options and how they work for both my 2.0 10" air shocks and 2.5  16" coil over shocks. I'm confident that the suspension on my car  is going to be a HOLE LOT BETTER!

we shouldn't knock king shocks after all they are top quality, for several reasons   a. they are expensive   b. well ah ah um I guess there is just the one!

trans man just kidding ya! lol    we will get your shocks figured out even though king doesn't want to help you too much!

trans man you should post up the conversation you had with the king guys?
B. There customer service, Bret redeemed them tonight. He is the only guy from there I will deal with for now on!

the best part you left out! while talking to brett the two of you discovered that when your shocks were put together they installed the compression and rebound stack on the wrong sides!  LMAO  and two of the changes they have made to the shock is gotten rid of the standard steel washer under the main nut and went to a hardened one, also got rid of the standard non locking nut and went to a locking one!

after hearing the conversation you had with mike ( from trans man ) I wouldn't buy shocks from that company! now after hearing what brett is doing for you I do agree he has redeemed their name as far as customer service goes!  I am still a die hard fox shock guy though!

here is a pic of the inside of the 2.0 king shock trans man sent me on his phone and a couple of the inside of a fox 2.0 on my rail while I was re-valving mine.

Brett is the man at King to talk to IMO! After my trip to LS, my 2.0 air shock valving is right on the money!  ;D ;D ;D My 2.5 coilovers on the rear are close, but I'm going to have to tweak them a little more. All and all I'm very happy from what I had before. 8) 8) 8)

The spring you see in the fox pics from DS, is what my kings look like now. I remove the King aluminum puck and install a fox spring in its place. A huge improvement for a little modification !!! 8) 8) 8) 8)

Looks like fun.  :P

So with the proper tools, how long does it take start to finish to make a valving change?

About 1 hour, by the time you figure in removal and reinstalling both shocks. 8) 8) 8)

Bleed them before you install the springs next time.

The problem is not allowing any air to get back in before bottom seal cap installed
