Mikuni carb material

Because of a clearance problem, AtvNut machined off some material from the the float bowl of one of my Mukuni TM 40 rack carbs. Unfortunatly, he machined a bit TOO much, and created a hole. I've been patching it with JB Weld, but the time has come to fix it right.

I'm wondering what it's made out of, can it be welded? Anyone know?

take it buy Bannash in the am on the way out, damn i didnt even think about it today, likely he would have zapped it with the rad and probbaly wouldn't have cost anything, ask him how much if he can do it, if it is more than the minimum lets try and find another via dootalk, maybe someone has some junkers lying around, for parts...
