Title: 1.5" square tube die
Post by: Stomper on August 02, 2011, 12:28:11 AM
I was looking on the pro tools web site at the 1.5" square tube dies. They say that the max wall thickness for this die is 0.083". I was needing to bend some tube with .125" wall. Has anyone bent 1/8th" wall square tube with these dies successfully. How do they come up with the min/max wall thickness that the dies can handle

Minimum is based on what will bend without kinking. Max is determined by the bender arms and pivots capacity.
