2 years ago the state sites went to online reservations so we have to pay before we ever get there now. its the woops and that damn train for me but either than that it is a nice camp ground and if we go and there are no cowboy sites ( which there won't be) then it will be duces so we can bother you and mrs fabbr  ;D

I only remember paying @ any of the state campgrounds a couple times in like 10 years. The rangers never came by. That on-line reservation ruined all that though. I'd started doing Dueces before that. I like the quiet,short run to town and lack of dumbass party hounds clear to dawn.I don't even notice the train. It was a LOT worse down at Sand City. Those effers would blow that damn horn FOREVER down there!  rofl Nope,the only thing wrong with Dueces is that I can't ever get any of you to give me a heads up when you are heading out. Hell,you guys don't do it when I'm in the same camp! 5: 5: I mean it's soooooo hard to send off a text..................

my phone is usually shut off while i am there and when we camped at dueces i came over and told you we were going out each time! you didn't always go..... put your base unit in the toter

ok budlight.....whats going on at the dunes that weekend ?? every state camp site is booked except 1 on the south side! thats going to be a very busy place fri sat and prob sun.

There is no event that I know of.  Back in July when I started looking, they were getting VERY full.  Every weekend spring and fall, I would expect it to be full within 5 to 6 weeks out.

If you are planning a trip this season to Little Sahara (Oklahoma) be aware of the new laws. Most important if you stay on the north end and ride into town.
You CAN NOT cross the high-way to get to Stewart's anymore. A new road was cut to get from North gate to Hammerheads/Cafe. DO NOT ride on the side of the high-way even if you see a trail, they will ticket you.

Last spring when we were there, they had a new road cut to go to the gas station or the ice machine.  You could go to Stewart's by going to the motel, and cut straight across the street.  What site did you use to see the 4 wheeler invasion?

We showed once with banshee wars, pretty cool drag racing.  But they cant go far, no suspension.  And had to rebuild those alcohol engine ea day.  But damn quick.

Ya. I thank I will make it down. not sure of camp sight yet or how many days but I will show. . I my end up over in the powersports camps. I went down last weekend with some side by side buddy, car run good.
