not true.....remember that time when dunebound blew his motor up and we all pictched together to pull his 3.8 ltre out by hand and put that used one in he found at a local junk yard? oh wait that used one didn't work so that didn't work out......never mind carry on

No carnage pics but a lot of great riding.  You are correct fabr, the big dune repairs will give you trouble. Fast is having problems with 3-4th shift fork.  We had 17 long buggy train this morning.  A dust devil took my awning off.  Steak, ice cream and cobbler tonight.  Miss you guys.   See you in LS

A few pics from the trip.  The weather was perfect 78 to 47 with no humidity.  Everyone is still running and drove on the trailer.

You all know about my 2D giving up in Idaho and all the boys getting together and rebuilding it so I could run with everyone for the remainder of the two weeks we were up there. Then after getting it all done I find out that I had put a couple of shims in on fourth gear wrong so all I could use was first and second. Will fast forward to last week and the complete disassembly of it here is the damage report.  Everything from and including the third gear synchronizes back to the intermediate housing was scrapped, three four slider fourth gear and it's sycro, which by the way is welded on the gear, new main bearing, just installed in Idaho $100.00 and all the third and fourth gear bearing housings pretty much toast, all the shims and thrust washers also. All that includes the intermediate housing.
