Ya,it idles very well. 14+:1 compression really helps that . It still pulls approx 6 inches vac at idle. No backup cam but I can see out the rear surprisingly well. A lot better than my other buggy.

Are you going to make it to Yuma this year? You should try and make it to the Parker Arizona off road race in February. You can run with them.

I wish I was. Got too many loose ends to tie up this year. I was looking into the Parker race ,not to  race but rather to just run the course between race dates.

If I head down that way,I'd probably run there before doing Glamis again.  Don't get me wrong but G and even St.A  take a back seat to hardpack driving. I was pretty much raised running pretty rugged hardpack  dirt roads around here in the basically unpatrolled area of Oklahoma south of me. Hundreds of miles of almost uninhabited rugged dirt roads,no law in other words . I really enjoy that type of offroad driving. Any of the guys down there up for it?

If you plan your trip the week before the race you can go on the trail with the race drivers. The run the course for practice.

Fabr, can I be "that guy"?

Pardon me for not waiting for your reply.

I respect you, and think you know this isn't an attack...

...but why not turn the camera (your phone?) sideways so we could see much more of the car while we were listening to the beautiful music? While I watch your video, only the center 1/3 of the screen has video, with large (huge?) black bars on either side of it.

And, yes, I realize this is something I have to learn to deal with, seeing as many people, including my own daughter, think that IS the right way to orient the recorder.

Sorry. Mini rant: off

LOVE the car!!!!

Simple answer, my vid shows it all on the 'puter(maybe it's the new phone /maybe I just don't know WTH I'm doing might be a possibility also.?  rofl ). Youtube did the bars BS. I was right there ranting with you about the black bars thing.  rofl Thanks for the kind words about the car!

Ahhh Haaa. I see. F'in' computers syncing with F'in' phones. I used to be the tech guy back in the day, now I'm the one asking for help.
