Title: VTR1000 in a cuda
Post by: Baja Rick on May 02, 2011, 03:55:03 PM
I found a VTR1000 for a song, so that's the power plant. anyone have any input on this in a cuda?
Thinking of building from the outside in cause I don't need a chassis in the garage for 12 months while I sell a Kidney to get it finished. anyone tried this?

Aaaawwww thanks Spec ;) I gotta say if I were doing another Cuda I'd put a busa motor in it cause of all the stuffing around with mounting the motor, however if you got the motor for a song well go for it have a look at My Cuda so far you'll prolly get a few ideas, cause that's all I did study other builds like Dougs or Dan Evans build on Edge, hope this helps.

Thank you Reidy, I did finally find it, it just took me a while.
And it's a great looking build too by the way.  Did you have to add any room to the engine compartment?

Thanks I appreciate it ;) yeah I did add an extra 100mm to the engine compartment, but there is a guy on here that put a TL1000 in his Cuda and he mounted it sideways which came out really nice, I'll see if I can find it and I'll whack up a link for ya. Ah ha that's it Dave Bray's cuda so far.
