Hayabusa Fuel System
« on: July 01, 2013, 10:10:18 PM »
I figured it would be on here already but I can't find it.  Can someone tell me what the fuel pressure and flow rate is for the Hayabusa?  I think I need a regulator on the down stream side of the fuel rail on the recycle line to the tank set at 42 psig but that is all I can find which I am having a hard time understanding how it would work.  If someone can recommend some pumps and regulators that would even be better.  Thanks in advanced.

If it has a return line then yes regulator goes between fuel rail and tank on return line side.  Anything over 42lbs (I think that sounds right) will push thru the reg and return to tank.

You can keep your CHANGE, I'd like to keep my DOLLAR.

43 psi is the target fuel pressure. I use a walbro pump . I'd need to find the part number .

A GOOD regulator that supplies a STEADY fuel pressure is mandatory to a smooth running engine regardless of pump used.

You need to regulate the fuel from the motor not to also. That keeps it constant at the injectors.

If I believe I cannot do something it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe that I can, then I acquire the ability to do it , even if I didn't have it at the beginning.

Absolutely! Regulator goes after the injectors in return line. I do not like non return systems.
