If I believe I cannot do something it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe that I can, then I acquire the ability to do it , even if I didn't have it at the beginning.

Don't have a clue.

Still only 30 degrees.  Can't you get more than that out of a single U-joint?

They have been around for a while. I saw a suspension cam years ago on the front of a desert truck. I think the idea is great in theory, but also think they must be heavy. I think the thing about the 30 degree number is that it can probably do that for extended periods of time.

That was the McPherson big mac TT. Claimed the joints on it were good for over 50*. They were not like the units in the link above though, they were all 300M custom machined.

Man that truck was a rocket ship. I remeber watching leave the line in Luaghlin and walk away from the Herbst like they were missing a few cylinders.

Edit: They have a video on there site...... http://www.cornay.com/videos.cfm/Team_MacPherson

Those have been around for a very long time. Heavy as hell. Better ways to get the angle nowdays-for our purposes anyway.
"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."
Theodore Roosevelt 1907
