1600cc Berrien Frame buggy FS OR FT Titled
« on: June 27, 2012, 10:46:35 AM »
I have a 1600cc framed buggy.
I took it to the dunes last week and it did OK, but I want something faster.

In order to get something faster I need to sell this.
I'm going to be honest because I hate it when people are not with me.

It had a few issues that the dunes helped me figure out.
It has a carb leak.  I just ordered a rebuild kit
Hydro pedal assembly has a leak, thus the brakes suck.  You have to pump them.
I kept hitting reverse so I adjusted the assembly so I could get 1st and 2nd.  But now reverse doesn't work.  I think it just needs fine tuning but I do have a new shifter.
Has a small oil leak. Just a couple drops over night on the trailer
Wiring could be better.  I fixed alot of it form the original owner but still needs work.

The goods
New seats!  $700 in seats and harness.  I would like to keep them but would let them go with it.
All fluids are new
runs good
Nice fiber glass body
Nice rims and tires
Michigan Title - I left it as a MI title because I figured someone from MI would want it lol
Just ordered a new throttle cable as well.  The other one is too long.

It rode surprisingly smooth on the dunes.  It rides super nice in the open fields on Indiana.

Not sure on price but I'm going to start with $3800 OBO.  Don't be afraid to make a offer.  Its nicer then most, but not mint like a $6k buggy.

Ah ha!  I think I see the problem.

When you hit "reply" the box opens up.  On the lower left of that box is a drop down that says "Additional options"  Click that.

There are some reply options, but the fourth option down is where you upload the pictures / attachments.  Make certain they are not too big, else it may not upload.  You may have to re-size them to small or medium depending on the default on your camera.

Someone tard wanted to trade me and when I went to his house it was not as decribed so I left.

Next day my add had been flagged.

With that said I was driving the buggy around last night and the #3 cylinder started smoking. So im taking it off the market for now.
