Ordered my tubing today! Cheap!

Last week I was quoted $3.79 per foot. I called today to place the order for 85' of 1.25" .095 DOM and it came out to $2.25 per foot! Sweet!

I also called around to price bottles for shielding gas and Argyle sold me a 55CF filled for $100. That cut that cost in half as well. He actually just said he had fourteen 55's and I assumed he meant 55 CF, but he may have meant 55 lb. bottles now that I think about it. Not sure, but it is easy on the budget and should last long enough. He said they were found in the warehouse and he wants to get them sold.

Moving right along! Still waiting for the JD2 tools to ship. Kind of surprised its taking so long to nontify me.

I aint trying to rain on your parade and I hope I am wrong but for some reason I seem to think I have read on OFN (off road Network) that those guys (JD2) can be really slow. My brain hurts right now (it actually does all the time) so I may be thinking of somone else.

I sent them an email asking for an update on the order and an estimated shipping time. We'll see. Can't beat the price though. I got a Model 3 bender, 3.5/180 die for 1.25" and a Notchmaster all shipped for $779.

Masterfabr, If JD2 takes too long I will definitely consider cancelling the order and going with PT. As far as I know they are pretty much equal when it comes to quality. The decision really just came down to price for me.

I just picked a bunch up both 1" .095 and 1.25" .095 for about $1.80 / ft.
