i have no idea about the insurance companies or what they currently do on the pro r with the 2.0 4cyl engine. if it's oem and has a title i don't see why they wont and at that same time i am surprised they continue to insure sxs's at all. there must be huge profits in it or something to continue to insure such toys as i believe the insurance companies are all for profit only. i could be way off of course.
it will be interesting to watch robby poke all those bears

i would really like to know the full back story as to who really pissed him off, fueling the speed utv endeavor ! i know two companies contracted him for consulting work and basically insulted him but i got a feeling there's more to it.
i also posted that on a sand car only page on FB. the administrator disallowed it as it didn't meet their rules......it's not a sand car. i get it, a rule is a rule and there are still a lot of sand rail purist's that hate or really dislike utv's. i understand the origins of the sport as well. you had to have the skills to build your own in some form or fashion and had to have the skills to maintain it. i personally don't own one but can see the attraction. i don't like the cvt drive but i do see one shining benefit from it. it is also the easiest way a 2000 lb two cyl 1000 cc powered toy will perform. not a to mention a money maker in belt sales!

i am contunually blown away with the people that have $60k plus dumped into the sxs's. good for them if thats what they want but damn, you can build a very well equipped v8 rail for that!
