 :m  yep, been there myself  ;) the worst thing that person did was hit the brakes before the brake lever on the trailer brake controller. i should say it appears that the brake lights were on anyway.

I have pulled bumper pull trailers a lot as well as GN/FW.  I can honestly say I have never had any near misses. I always balance my loads appropriately or they don't get pulled though.

On that note I think most toyhaulers are built too tongue light from the start. They are fine empty but as soon as a car goes in it becomes tongue light and the tail starts wagging the dog. Recipe for disaster.

200% agree!   i requested 20% tw and wound up with 16%. to be honest 25% would've been more in line. they def need to be tongue heavy from the get go and every one should know this. having said that, there are plenty that complain toyhaulers have waaaay to much tw empty  rofl   i'm guessing those are the ones buying to haul golf carts or kayaks

 even balanced the side winds still move them around more then a GN or fiver. def understand what your saying though
