Title: trailer conversion
Post by: dsrace on October 09, 2010, 07:08:15 PM
well I posted some pics up for leatherneck a while back of my basic living quarter cargo trailer. I finally got some more time to get a little farther along on the conversion but it's still not done! here are the old pics and then the new.

I over 10k in it but the biggest difference is it's built stonger than any toy hauler that I've seen lately! not to mention it will haul a car still with out over loading the axles or even pushing them to their limits!

thanks. I actually ordered the couch beds with the trailer from H&H and no they have no name or tags on them but are the best construction I have ever seen, better than the kitchen chair bed set which is ok but not as sturdy!  here are a couple of links to look at.

now this is the place I got my kitchen chair beds from. I can say that the quality is what you see in the toy haulers and campers out there, it is very nice but not as good as what h&h used. their instruction were great ( cad print ) but the mounting hardware left a little to be desired but still not a problem as long as you have a drill and drill bit to make the holes the size they are supposed to be! I would buy from them again though. they need to cut 3"s out of the off the wall spacing though.

here is another company but I have not purchased anything from before.

well I have 4 little pieces to install and it's done. It's tight but my 13.5' rail and 2 quads fit in it. If I ever get my v-6 rail sold I will be building possibly 2 bike powered but even for now I need a bigger trailer so I put this one on e-bay and racingjunk.com.

I got this pm on racingjunk and yes it is legit so what do you guys think?

Would you be interested in a trade for this?I have a 92 Freightliner cabover with a double bunk sleeper you can stand up in it, along with a 45 foot trailer converted to a car hauler. the first 25 foot is Living quarters with a full size shower. It has everything but a stove.A/C,Toilet, bath sink, kitchen sink, cabinets, hardwood floors, couch that folds out to a bed ,observation deck etc....No CDL required registered as a totor home.
