Looking for where to find a good deal on a center overhead rearview mirror for my friends mini buggy.
Its got just over 40 inches (of width) at the top of the A-pillar on the cross bar. The cross bar is 1.25 inches dia.
Been seeing a lot of these mirrors with three to five separate mirrors so you can adjust each individually and see more. Thats the type we are seeking.
I am trying to find him a panoramic mirror to look into to see but I do not think he will like a panoramics distortion to much.
So got any brands you like?? Places you recommend to buy?? Thanx much in advance for any help! Bill

I used these in my race cars for years...
cheap and way effective

Wink is a winner. The cost of them billet panel mirrors is absurd.
-
What are they? Plastic I assume. Do they hold up reliably longer term? Do they scratch easily? Does it sag between mounts? Vibrate?Optical distortion? For 20 bux A person can buy a spare or 2 if they aren't real durable I guess. Is each mirror independently adjustable or fixed position?
-
each is fixed. they do not need to be adjustable. only the elevation changes depending on your height - tilt up or down. full 180 behind you.
-
OK,how about the other questions?
-
i have not used a wink in off road - the concept is simple. used them in a few street cars. optics were fine, and 180 rear view (ok, maybe 145*) they are plastic with small mirrors- my guess for 20.00 it is worth a shot re: durability - maybe that is why they also come in billet at 145 for 4 panel?

Couldn't use it after the intercooler install sooo.........
Just a couple of cleanable bug splats on it is all ;)
Its a nice looking mirror and very solid. Good view

to answer Fabr's question ;D
they are prone to get fuzzy during heavy vibrations I never had one in a buggy
No they don't sag in the middle...I never had one fail or the glass fall out
With a little practice you can train your eyes to look at the specific panel to where you want to see...They do take some getting used to tho
