Awesome

We shot some rear facing video few yrs back. Deft looks faster. GoPro always make the video look like a Sunday drive thru country.

To me,it would be much more fun than duning. Why couldn't I have been so lucky to have that open areas riding near me? Oh well,at least I do have sand only 4 hours away. I guess I should be grateful.

sand 4hrs closer would be a nice weekend trip  ;D but poor me has to make pass's down the hwy and hope i don't get caught  rofl  made 4 runs yesterday trying to figure out an oil pressure concern. i think i'll be pulling the motor this winter and swapping to a higher pressure oil pump vs the new stock one i installed. i installed a melling pump but a stock replacement pump because there were many  many posts that stated the turbo didn't like the higher psi from higher psi pumps. what i didn't take into account was that was coming from people running stock 35 year old bushing turbo's. turbo technology has come a long way since then  ;)  at 5k rpm i am only making 45psi ( hot) and hot idle dips to 18 to 20 psi. i will run a heavier oil for the oct run just to help but ya.

IMO you are just fine with what you have. The old must at least have 10psi per 1000rpm is not gospel. As an example the LT1 in my vette only runs about 45psi @6500. It also uses 5w40 mobil1. No need or even reason to run heavy oil. I use 15w50 in the V8 buggy. Hot it will be around 15-20 at idle. Nothing to worry about if bearing clearances are right. Pretty normal with todays oils.
