Title: Autocad Scales
Post by: Nuff_Said on March 03, 2010, 06:51:24 AM
Hi Guys..

I've just run into a slight problem with some dxf drawings I purchased for some laser cutting for my buggy. Problem is, the dxf's were delivered with a 1:5 scale, and the laser cutting firm needs them 1:1 for obvious reasons.  How can I (please say there's a way) remedy this issue???? drowning

There's several,I think ,here that have AC. If they offer you can just send them the dxf's and have them rescale them. Easy 2 minute fix.

Why does your laser cutter need them 1:1?  You mean to tell me that they can't adjust the scale of a .dxf thumb down  Wow!  Good thing Doug is such a nice guy and willing to do it for ya.  ;D  I guess that's why we have this forum, to help each other out.  ;) I was going to offer my services as well, so if Doug is too busy, I could do it for you as well.  It really only takes a couple of minutes to rescale .dxf's  Your the man Doug, thanks for being so helpful not only to me, but for everyone who asks for it. ;)
