so you asked a question i forgot to ask...... what is the pin weight %. i just got off the phone with the saleman, he said they are designed 60/40 from center of axles, no specific % target. basically i will have to go to a cat scale to find out.
also, you had me wondering about the price diff with other brands. so kaufman is factory direct so some savings. i looked at a few other brands online. lots of trailers built in texas as in texas pride , best texas trailer, big tex
looked at pj's and a couple others. those that offer low boy full width deck light duty equipment traielrs aka goose neck car trailers
seem to be all channel frames or as i call it C channel. some are rectangle tube frames but most are stacked channel. the heavier duty real equipment trailers are all deck overs, I beam frames but tq tubes aren't offered until they get to that 30/32 ' plus length configurations. i will say i like the way diamond C builds there trailers, not fond of the extra $5k they want vs kaufman but i really do like their construction. pj trailers seem to do a nice job, only have seen on texas pride trailer in person , that one looked good as well. they are $2500 higher and much farther away. it appears that the tq tube isn't widely used with c channel lighter duty GN trailer, only when they go I beam.
