Need some help advice from all you Hudu Guru's on this PS unit from US.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130317322287&ssPageName=ADME:X:AAQ:MOTORS:1123  We don't have these cars Downunder,so it's all foreign to me! ::)
I want to install one on my Drakart buggy, but not sure if it's suitable.I'm suffering bad with cramped up fingers, hands and forearms after a lap or 2! :'(
Ive asked the seller questions on splines sizes,OA dimensions etc to see if it's suitable or will even fit.
I have been looking at the Unisteer,Electra-Steer,but at a mere US$1,000  :o They make kits for all the UTV's and a Universal kit.
Thanks Baz.

I'm using the unisteer.Pricey.

but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."

Went to Brookton track on sunday(1 hrs drive S/E of Perth, had a blast with heaps of practice runs and finished with timed trials in clock/anti directions. We bought some new wizzbang timers but had probs with the setup in the 1st session and reverted back to good ol'stopwatch. But managed to get a timed 1;15 in 1st trials before my cramps got the better of me later on. :'(
Happy to say that the TRA clutch changes/spring/ramps and the Anti-crap guards/flaps/wings ;D worked well.
Just need to get the Electra-Power Steering bought and fab'd up ASAP!
Here's a vid of the 1st trial:Muddy/greasy conditions after lotsa all week rains.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSdpBoKntbA&feature=channel_page

Here's a paste of our times:

As chief steward for the day, I decide that due to the teething problems we were having with the timing gear that only the last 2 races that were timed with the stopwatch would count towards the results.

1st # 23 Chris Thomas L1, 1.19.03 - L2, 1.19.03 Total 2.38.06
2nd # 75 Ian Smith L1, 1.20.33 - L2, 1.18.33 Total 2.38.66
3rd # 2 Baz Vostan L1, 1.20.01 - L2, 1.21.19 Total 2.41.20
4th # 3 Bernie Holt L1, 1.34.18 - L2, 1.26.03 Total 3.00.21
5th # 1Alan Lawson L1, 1.46.62 - L2, 1.52.28 Total 3.40.90
DNF # 24 Steve Brough
DNF # 22 Ray Voss
Chris drives a R1 homebuilt, past series trophy winner, and Ian drives the 1400 KwakaCuda. Both drivers did'nt drive last meet as both had Broke-Back rear ends ::) during practice, just prior to the timed trials. So it was good to get a comparison.

After much time searching the web for best Unisteer EPS kits prices,I think I have finally found ma man! ;D
Last night-my time-I rang Todd Eldrige at http://www.hunterworks.com/home about a Unisteer EPS to best suit my Drakart. He's a top bloke to talk to,listens ;D,helpful, and also races his UTV with a Uni EPS...so he's one of us!I just need to send him some sizes, dimensions etc of R&P & Howe steer Quick splines so he can match up the best connectors.
He said his kits are US$850 posted in US,US$825+post to me Downunder.
That's by far the cheapest ive come across, and promised same day post service.
Anyone else bought,or used a Uni EPS yet?

What N the Hell is Baz up to now?  ???..........Not much! ;D
In the interest of forum content, and self humiliation compared to the real fab'rs,this is what I did today,Sat arvo, very mild spring here, just nice to be outside with ma tools.Plus had to work up a thirst for the evening Barbie. ::)
Had some spare leftover Holy than thou S/S  perforated sheet. So decided to give the Drak the sheets! 8)
Only thing I could think of sheetin' was the front bar,as I could see my bonnet(Hoodie) scars from the CrazyCudas, and R1 Roost.
Also I think that this sheet kite-angle will work in nicely with the Nerf-Wings uplift to balance out the aerodynamics of it all,and free up some rear load sapping Whorespower. ;D....Yeah,I know...I should write up,before I drink up! What? :D
