:nw My kids gave me the newest version of gopro for Christmas. I forgot all about it until time to leave. :m  Damn fine cam but too many features. All I really need is start/stop record and rewind.

didn't know anyone got that on video.....what other video's did you or anyone else get? i bought a brand new go pro and the only footage on the sand that i got was a night ride. i know i know but this one takes a little more learning than the hero 2. somehow i switched the 1 push turn on and record function off. got some footage of the camp ground.

really good info there!!

had no idea cyl 4 was a hot spot. so since sand rails dont have heater cores ( most dont) one could tap the thermostat housing. i didn't catch which side of the heater core they were tapping. as in feed or return.
:) :) :)  Some do. :m

and that's why i edited the statement to most don't  LMAO

Fantastic trip as always!
And THANK YOU Jerry for welding my header back together and giving me a couple more days in the sand, big hug big Brother!!
I wish we had the material to help you out after this one, but I did get to pay it forward. Took the Brute out for a toodle and found a couple guys in a side-by-side stuck in the the fluff on the steep East trails in the trees, got some good use out of the winch and got him out, said they have been there a few hours!
I got a few clips~n~pics...

How are you doing your engine management?...
Oh and have you seen the cyl 4 cooling mod ?
If you haven't lookn that up in you tube.. it's good for keeping cyl 4 from running hotter than the others and is super simple.

Must have missed this. I am using Haltech Elite 1000. I don't give a sh*t what John from Outfront Motorsports says, the Haltech does work on a sandcar. I will watch your video on the #4 cylinder.  Thanks.
ANY engine management will work IF the tuner knows his stuff. Some just better than others. FWIW,I have a few doubts about John. I've ridden 2 cars tuned by him and I wasn't impressed with their drivability  smoothness. Almost like WOT was all that really mattered. nHell,I guess that applies to a LOT of tuners.
