4 hours till I hit the sand!!!!!!

enjoy the trip. i am surprised your going over a holiday but why not  :m  :D

took the miss's on a trip to south dakota. returned tues and saw a lot of the sites. now it's time to get back on the rail for a little fun in the sand. go figure, the furnace didn't work on the brand new custom fixer upper  ;D

glad i mowed the day before we left or it would look like a jungle. take some pics or videos of the fun runs!

i remember it like it was yesterday!   i can honestly say that i have never had a LS dune trip that i regret. i have had fantastic trips and some trips with a bit of bad weather or a bit of bad failures. never a bad trip that i regret. that sand storm was the worst weather i had ever personally experienced there. the tent that were caught in the bsush's for reserving a site for an even like rattlesnake round up etc etc.....that was damn funny. the dune were reversed overnight, made for some fantastic dune runs with a great group of duners.
i wont forget that sandstorm though.......couldnt see 10' in that storm.

I did a lot of riding the valleys. Didn't dare getting anywhere near a peak. :m Non stop wind ,30 -50 mph every day/night. It never let up.

that gets painful in those winds. the peaks are very hard if not impossible to read in those winds. i've see the sand drift off the peaks 2' making for a nasty drop when one least excpects it  :m  i too would been in the valleys or trails for those days. sand had to be smooth after words.
