looking for 1/4" steel spacer ring to weld on back of my wheel adapters for rear of rail. Want to strengthen up this part a bit. Or I'm going to have to do something else altogether.
Here's adapter I have, want to weld ring to back of "ear" part.

Just machine aluminum adapters to suit. No issues and plenty strong if made from 1/2" or5/8" 6061.Easy and quick to do. Don't worry about "ears". No need to get fancy.

Pacific customs sells spacers. I sent mine to Doug for holes. Easy peasy.

All the spacers I've seen are alum. And I'm hearing of some failures of these on inroad cars so I'm going to plan Q. Going to pu the alum adapter from the race trim brake set and have the 4.5 pattern drilled in them. They come with the 4.75 Chevy pattern. This should work great and it's alum so lighter.
