is that airbrushed.. or is the aluminum swirled around and just a candy blue paint over it?

Its aluminum that I swirled and then shot candy over it. This is the first time I tried it.

That looks great. I was thinking about building a downsized version of mine for my boys also. But I need to finish mine first. The sheet metal looks awesome!!!!!!! I wonder how it would look anodized.

Hopefully he used a clear sealer first, otherwise it won't, lol...

Yeah I know.That's why I asked.Aluminum will oxidize under the paint and peel right off if proper prepaint prep is not done.Looks Killer BTW.

Yes its sealed first, you can get a spray sealer/adhesion promoter to lay down first then paint right over it my other red paint been on the wing and scoops for over 4 years

Talk about helping hand, he knows how to cut tubing learning how to bend it and he wounds a welding helmet for Christmas.

Yup auto darkening will help to keep a new welder fom burning their eyes...and you only get one set of them

Well its done I took it out around the block had a ball then the frost bite kick in, its like 20 out. Its runs and drives very well.

Not to steel the thread. I used a 4" grinder and a 60 grit flap wheel to do my side panels. Then had a transparent, metallic power coat put on.
