I am currently doing some custom work for a customer and neither himself nor I know the stud diameter for the large 5 bolt pattern of the VW wheel pattern. I think they are 9/16" studs. Anyone know any different?
While I am on the subject I have the wheel pattern diameter (PCD) at 205mm for reference of which pattern Im seeking info on.
Thanks Doug

Should be 14mm x 1.5

Stud DIA is 14MM with 14.5MM at the serrations. Studs come in any length you want.

thanks guys!

The real question in my mind is what is the centering diameter for the wheel. I notice many of the hubs don't have it, but I felt like incorporating it into mine. The problem is you can't get a caliper down into the wheel..... So my first attempt was about .005 tight. Damm tape measure. ;D If you want it I will look in my CNC program tommorrow. Otherwise, Carry on.

So they just press into a 14mm hole in the hub?

Stock Bus and aftermarket are 14MM, stock Bugs are 12MM.

I drill the holes in my wide five to Chevy bolt pattern adapters with a 9/16 drill bit. That brings them to .5625 which is 14.288 MM. Then press in my 14MM studs.
