Finding Your Way Around Glamis
« on: December 09, 2012, 07:05:35 PM »
"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."
Theodore Roosevelt 1907

It is a big place.  No worries though.  Plenty of land marks.

A couple things I believe are good to think about.

Cell phone coverage sucked in the dunes last time I was there (it HAS been a while) I would seriously recommend renting a true satellite phone for a week while there so you can call for help from anywhere.

Aside from that the GPS out there can save yours or somones life as you may need it to give exact corrordinates to the LEO's and rangers who can get medical help to you MUCH faster if you can actually reach them then give them pinpoint coordinates to where you are.

Make sure everybody knows how to use them too!

Your mission isn't to dive feet first into hell, but to make sure its crowded when you get there.

Don't forget to mark Boardmanville and Pair-a-dice bar........

When I was a kid we would camp at Gordon's and ride down across the Dunes into Algadones to buy beer. Good times, to bad you can't do stuff like that anymore.

The thing that strikes me funny about this is they are acting like its a big deal and doing that huge fence thing on the border there and all that shit yet they are making it so that "illegal aliens" are not even illegal......

Nice to waste money on both fronts and accomplish nothing good to boot. I swear its to give more g-ment fools more overpaid jobs to really do nothing.

So where are the area's now closed?  Are they outside that boxed area?  Guessing they're are a few placed where you can drive over the canal?  Or do you just jump it like in the video's I've seen.  Few more test drives before I'm ready for there, but one day.
You can keep your CHANGE, I'd like to keep my DOLLAR.
