if they used that motor in a firebird or camaro with a manual then it can be done with out to much trouble. I only say this because when I sent my pcm off to 3800 performance to have it flashed they said no problem they will just set the programming to a manual, and shut down the four path lock security system so I could use a universal key switch as well as many others.  what I want to know is how did you set up the throttle and how did you seal it from the sand?

I'll post some pictures later on tonight, but I sent my PCM to Intense-racing.com and it just cost $125 to have it all flashed out, the auto trans and all the security just flip a switch and push a button and go. No limitations to the motor, all out and go. Carl you guy are killing me everytime I talk about my buggy you want to know what tranny I running, I'm still running that old and tired stock 6 rib it has held up for three seasons now behind a stock 3800 motors and I know that I'll be really pushing it with this S.C. 3800 but I have definitely got my moneys worth out of it. May someday my ship will come in and I can afford to buy or build a big boys trans like you guys Ha Ha (not the way my wife spends money)

Oh the one thing they did was flash it to a 2005 spects and I wired it up to a 2005 wiring diagram. I had to change some pins around in the blue computer plug but that was easy. left the others alone. It is more about the security getting all of them shut off and turning off the tranny stuff the wiring diagram helped with getting rid of all the tranny wires along with several friends who helped.

Seems its all in how you hammer those tranny's, wait I seem to remember a vid of you tilling your yard.  Those are good motors, just seem everyone was scared of remote control throttle.  Good find, and a fair price too.

That's sick.  Sounds like an F1.  Nice job.

If I believe I cannot do something it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe that I can, then I acquire the ability to do it , even if I didn't have it at the beginning.

Fast I don't think I'll be able to keep up with my buddy Ron. I'll let you know one thing he can't wait till you get out to Yuma I think he want to through a little sand your way with his new motor. He put the LS 2 in his buggy this year and Cadillac Ron bought his 5.3 he sent me a video of Cadillac Ron jumping Missouri Ron's buggy looks pretty cool Missouri Ron won't jump it he says he is to old I just laugh at him, I'll try to post the jump here in a bit.
