Crazy, two years
« on: January 01, 2016, 04:56:03 PM »
Facebook gave me a flashback today.  Crazy, two years or so being in the sand.

Been busy.  Stupid busy.  Finish up the house projects, then maybe some time to go play a bit.  Trouble is would have to get a new ride......

You can say that again, and again, and again and....................
"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."

Can't remember the last time I was in the sand but at least I have the Toyota pre-runner sitting in Big Had's garage that we will pick up next September. Then all I have to do is make time to use it...

Yes Jeff time marches on.  Miss all the old guys, Yummi, DW, the Glamis Dunes Fairy.  Even John don't post about his girls raceing as much anymore over on the x-brand site.   ;D I can not believe that this is my eighth new years in Glamis. This place is like a magnet.

If I believe I cannot do something it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe that I can, then I acquire the ability to do it , even if I didn't have it at the beginning.

Does that come with an original prophecy?  Hold out for the DVD version that includes daily affirmations.  Don't forget to have him bless the truck before you load it up.

I talked with him a bit a few years ago and the wreck did do quite a bit of damage but not as much as the loss of friends over it. His side is that many of his lifetime friends turned their back on him over the lawsuit and failure to accept responsibility for being where he was on the course.

I reached out again last year after a good friend did the same for me and expressed my concern for him. He made it clear to me that he was ok and that he was just acting on the site the way people expected him to.

Lastly, we talked for a few hours about the truck and other things and I think he is an ok guy. He, like many over there and here, would do pretty much anything to help another out. He wouldn't even allow me to pay for the truck until I get there and see it. He is just going to clean it up and leave it in his garage for me until September. Hell, he wouldn't even allow me to pay him storage.

That's good that he is doing well.  I had supported him in his suit.  Lots of ways to get drawn into them.  Never read the pleadings, but would not surprise me if he was a co defendant as well as plaintiff.  His dis-jointed ramblings always worried me.  Always seemed one step away from a manifesto.  Guess it was a ruse?

Enjoy the new truck, with or without the Hadian blessing.  Swing by and pick me up, we can cruise for chicks.

Good to here that big had is doing ok DW. Always thought he had a lot more healing to do.  Some of his post were way out there in left field.   :wwp: Knew you bought some kind of ORV but never thought it to be a truck.  O-well your a trucker so what else would a trucker do.  ;D
