002 5 rib for sale

I do not have pics yet but soon. a good friend of mine is stepping up to an 094 transaxle and is selling his 002 5 rib. the 5 rib is all weddle except for the case and input shaft. he ran 5 years with a 3800 v-6 strapped to it and broke the weddle rev gear at the dunes this april (trying to get out of a hole, you get the picture). the transaxle has been fixed with all new bearings as of last weekend. he repainted it black, with 930 flanges ready to go. he has $3400 invested in it and wants $3000  or best offer.

I need to ad that all of the gears including rev gear, ring and pinion and pinion retaining nut are chromoly weddle in this transaxle for sale! also included in the transaxle for sale! instead of using oem (german) plastic cage needle bearings for 1st thru 4th gears Shane of Shanes Performance Transaxles ( 1 308 379 4960 ) only uses steel caged needle bearings. also only uses weddles racing 3rd and 4th slider hub and 100% brand NEW oem german bearings from weddle through out the remainder of the transaxle ( does not re-use the origanal bearings at all ). also only installs steel shift selector ball instead of the oem plastic ones. also only uses oil impregnated bronze bushings in the clutch cross shaft and new brass bushings for the shift shaft in the nose cone. this is the only way to get this kind of transaxle to withstand the power of a slightly warmed up to stock 3800 v-6 engine! the receipt for all of these parts listed that have been installed in the 5 rib ( above ) for sale is available if needed!

to build your 002 5 rib transaxle (duplicating the transaxle for sale) with everything listed above and all weddle gears including rev and r&p Shane charges $3750.

to build your 091 with all the parts listed above including weddle r&p, 1st thru 4th and rev gears, including weddles new all aluminum gear carrier housing ( better/stronger than oem ), plus weddles stronger and 1/2" taller clutch cross shaft arm ( on the outside of the trans that the slave cylinder connects to ) with a new return spring for the complete performance build for $3950.
