IF all is fine on fire up I see real hope for it to make it to LS for some shake down runs.

99.9% done but for final body work. Waiting for fuel pressure regulator that won't be here till probably Tuesday. Wednesday should be fire up day.

You must be busy because the progress pictures have been lacking lately   5:  So, I think we will need a video of the "engine run".  Can't wait to see the beast in person.  I may have to make a run to LS this fall

60/40 is correct.

A post from the beginning of this project.

Thanks. I target 3000 pounds +/- .  I'd be happy with 3000-3200#'s.
tubing                             800#
hubs f&r                          200#
wheels/tires(heavy mofos) 500#
transaxle                         200#
engine                             600#
seats                              120#
shocks/bypasses/coils      250#
fuel tanks/dry sump stuff  150#
That's over 2800ish # right there with a wild ass guesses at weights

I think I hit my 3K target pretty close. I hadn't figured for body then. It will add 100 pounds to it. Take the heavy ass dirt tires off and it will lose well over 200 pounds.

Busarail is 1800 with sand tires and 2000 with dirt tires. I'm really pleased with the 3050 for this car. Many had said it would top 3500. This was never intended to be a light sand car.
