New Tube bender, notcher and jig table

Have a lot of handrail to build, thought I should tool for it. Really happy, they work great.

Judging by the fact that you have about 2000' of tubing under that table, that's a lot of hand rail........

122 joints of 1&1/2" seamed tubing, 2 mill runs. have lots of handrail to build. Already messed up a couple of joints due to the learning curve of new equipment and programming. Got the first three rails out and things are stating to smooth out a little.Ercoline seems to be very good equipment and the tubing notcher is rocket fast. Have really enjoyed it so far. ;D

Is there a reason you didnt use the mill for notching?

I'm sure hoping so, gota big chunk on the line. Originally I was going to use the bridgeport for notching but one of the other partners wanted this type of notcher, it will handle up to 4&1/2" and he has some projects he wants to do, and he got the extra money approved so here we are. I;m still waiting on a 20' indexing table for the bender.

Thats some big tubing. When I did production work on race car suspension it took ten seconds per tube to clamp it, notch it and put it in the stack.

wow that is fast, Im guessing your talking about notching with a mill. The only comparison I have is we did 14 3" schedule 40 pipes on the ercolina in about 10 minutes. Using the mill would have been cheaper I think but sometimes I get out voted. But I have it now and I really like it.

Yeah I have never done work on big stuff, always been lightweight racecar chassis and suspension.
