Well,,depends on how much time I take away from finishing house. Radiator did arrive today tho so I'll be mounting it and try to get chassis to powder coater Monday. Realistically I could have it ready. We'll see tho. I'm going to skip St.A this fall and probably come down to LS for the fall thing with SR1 and you guys. Would like to be able to make a couple shake down runs then.

Well,decided to put the car together without powder at this time. It seems like I keep on finding little things I'd like added. Soooooo,I might actually get the damn thing ready for LS fall trip.

Fortunately 4130 has a pickled surface that resists rust a bit. The few pieces not 4130 will get the pickle treatment. It'll be fine for a while.

It won't completely prevent rust but it does a better job than anything else. Left raw for now will allow any possible cracks to readily show up. I don't expect to have any but,ya never know. Better now than later. It came off the jig for the first time today.  I'll have it on all fours by end of weekend.

Spent the day modifying all the suspension pivot bolts and making spacers.  26 of them to be exact. 16 more to do for the shocks and bypasses. I do not like threads riding in the tabs. I find bolts with appropriate shank length and cut off excess threads . When the unthreaded shank is a bit too long ,I make spacers instead of stacking washers. This way both tabs have a smooth shank riding in them. Keeps the tabs happy and me too when removing the bolts. Spacers will get tacked in place ( another of the things forgot,reason why not PC'ing now)  to make servicing easier.

4 corner alignment done. Only took minor adjustments.I've always just used angle finders and such. Since this car will see some serious speed,I bought a caster/camber guage from Joe's. I gotta admit ,it has brought me out of the stone age. Pretty nice knowing it is spot on instead of just pretty close.
