It takes about a minute to pull full vacumn. Might take Several minutes to fully fill system. Follow the directions advice on putting your fill bucket as high as possible and it goes quicker. I pull a vacumn and let it sit for a few minutes before filling. If there is any loss of vacumn,there is a leak needing fixed first.

i'm going to try it out on my diesel first. haven't changed coolant in a couple years now but there a hard one to get the air out of and it has gotten warmer than i would like to see in the tall hill in wyoming on the st a trip since i did.

 I guarantee you won't ever have buyers remorse. Just hang the thing with the hose hanging down for a couple days so the hose straightens out before using. I store mine like that.

Thought I'd revisit this topic. It is STILL one of the best things I have ever bought.  Hassle free,no spills and it fills every nook and cranny in the entire cooling system first time ,every time. Well worth the $80. Still same price as 4 years ago, too!
