I'm not big on VW trannies and such...when I was looking locally for a junk turbo for cheap I ran across this...

Run away from the Porsche tranny as fast as you can. They gearing is way to tall for anything off road and gear sets for them make Spendiolas look cost effective.

There's a good chance that stuff's out of a stolen car, too. If he bought a wreck for parts, he would have some approximation of how much the parts cost normally, and he would know to put a bit higher price than that on them.

$200 will keep your meth supplies up for a fortnight...
