Title: Fuel filter
Post by: BrianN on November 01, 2020, 02:17:13 PM
Improving my fuel filtration after plugged injectors during DTS fall group. #3 cylinder was blocked completely the entire trip. Thanks to DSrace for the info on the spin-on. And thanks to BigDave for diagnosing my ground issue to my starter.

that filter will keep them clean. prob want to change that filter a couple times next seaon then once a season. i say that because normally we dont get a lot of trash in our tanks. i thought it ran pretty good for a 2.5 cyl!!  :D

are you running a pre filter?   i run a 100 micron pre filter. doesnt catch a whole lot. any large debris that may get knocked loose or dropped in if i am working  on the tank or large crap in the fule.  i will be adding a 4 micron fst to my fuel caddy as well.

Yes. 100 micron pre-pump. My fuel fill cap is cheap crap. Basically a sand funnel. It will be changed.
