I have been fixing an oil leak on the truck. I did see that article but have not had a chance to read it in depth. There is a lot more info on that site that you should read as well.Need to know how to adjust them properly. I did run. Across a company that custom builds their own line of shocks. Never heard of them, seemed to be used in ultra class 4 racing. I really like those those ! They build by pass with tubes in custom zones for the customers needs. As do Fox and King. Was interesting but didn't grab a link to post. Internal bypass shocks are good shocks and basically do the same thing with less weight and space. It has become clear that they simply do not work as well as a external bypass. I also found it interesting to read some of the differences between fox race series and fox performance series shocks. King builds a lesser line also. The sxs shocks are performance series and the lesser of the 2 class's. When one rebuilds them its best to buy the parts to convert them for a longer life. Fox really bored themselves out to the sxs manufacturers and I can see why. They spec them out with lower quality higher wear parts inside of them.King does the same. It's all about sales and $$
