Never too young to learn a new skill. Great to see!!
Maybe someday it will turn into 6 figures $$$$$$ for her. Even if not ,welding damn sure is a skill we can all use in our lives. You are rightfully proud of her.Congrats!!

I’m building my 10 year old daughter a cross kart and she told me she wanted to help me on it and learn to weld so o gave her some lessons and let her have at it.
Skip to about 7:30 to see her welding.

Yes, an old flat belt tied together with leather laces.  Works great but I can't cut threads with it.

That looks like a nice lathe.  I have a Logan lathe, model 830.  Made about 1945.  I traded 2 cases of beer for it.   :m  Still on of my best trades!
