WHat are you guys torquing them  to? I'm running boots that hide the bolts. I don't want them coming loose. What works for you?

Oiled 45 FTP no oil 55 FTP.  Makes a difference to if the bolts are plated or not.  If plated then go on to 55 with out oil.  That's where I put mine to just before vacation.

If I believe I cannot do something it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe that I can, then I acquire the ability to do it , even if I didn't have it at the beginning.

Of corse you want to work them down UP to that.  AKA  start with about 30 and work up.

No loc-y tite that will change the tq value. At 50 to 55 they will not come out.

Down meaning down tighter  Up meaning more tq.   kick

When using loctite remember that it is not a lubricant. Most times it should be torqued to same as a dry thread when using loctite.

Believe me I'm considering the safety wire but loctite will be nearly impossible to do properly. I can't see any way to avoid getting grease on the threads while assembling especially the midboard side. loctite + grease=no stickum.
