OK, question time and time to decide what to do. When I bought the tranny it came with a two disc clucth. This requires that the fly wheel be machined to accept it. Should I use a multi disc clutch or simply stick with single disc? Pros cons?
No doubt the dual has more surface area. Just on puck vs full disc. Any downsides?
One of the reasons for dual disc was to increase ground cleaeance by use of a smaller bellhousing. Another yet was the lessened rotating mass allowed faster or easier shifts at higher rpms.
