Tragic really when you think about it. I understand all will not agree with this but it really summed up my feelings.Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way you can understand them.
This quote supposedly came from the Czech Republic . If so,someone over there has it figured out.

I didn't realize there were so many stupid racist people in the Czech Republic? Too bad they didn't realize the bigger boob that was elected prior to Obama. Remember the Iraq war that cost billions if not trillions and American servicemen lives lost for something that we didn't need to be in?
The stupid Czech's have a convienent memory about reality and just shows that Fox News and that hack Glen Beck has bleached their brains with crap.

I am not sure who has bleached their brain with crap, but I had to go back and read the whole quote to verify that not one word was uttered about race. So it seems that you sir are simply regurgitating talking points and leftist dogma. Please try to think for yourself.

I never understand the point of the argument that Obama isn't bad compared to Bush. If you buy a car that has trans problems, do you comfort yourself saying the last car had alignment problems? Maybe you should think about how you will research your next car.
I will not argue with anyone that Bush wanted to go to war in Iraq. My belief after seeing some documents released under freedom of information act that it was decided within days after 9/11 that Iraq would be invaded. I believe he was influenced by his ties to big US oil. Obama is tied to big foreign oil. BP's largest campaign contribution ever made was to Obama's. They both suck, but think foreign influence is worse than US. Obama has blown massive amounts of money on things portrayed as saving the economy, but are all about greater government control. Look at what are national debt is now compared to when Bush was in office.
People need to stop being sheep. Stop bitching about people following the rules of the game and work toward changing the rules. Obama's aunt was an illegal alien collecting an income paid for by US taxpayers. When asked about this, her response was she was following our rules. She is right. The expectation that individuals given the chance to fill out some forms and get free money won't do it is ludicrous. Change the rules. Change the laws that you cannot receive any form of government subsidy unless you have been a US citizen for 5 years or more. After the big uproar, Obama's aunt got her citizenship. She still does not have a job or pay taxes, just collects subsidies.
Some state made it so people can't buy pop with food stamps. People were complaining 'Who are you to tell me what to buy'. My answer: The one whose money you are spending. It is common knowledge on the street in Michigan that food stamps are worth 50 cents on the dollar cash. People get them, stand outside stores and sell them, take the cash and buy drugs. The kids still starve. I say stop sending out food stamps. Have a nutritionist determine a meal plan for various areas of the country and for various age groups. Issue out a request for quote to food wholesalers such as Sam's Club, Costco, etc. to fill the shopping list. Instead of sending out food stamps, people who were getting them get a delivery of nutritious and cost effective food delivered from various sources and those sources are paid by the government. It will cost taxpayers less money and the kids will get fed. Being fed better food, they will have less health issues off the up and coming socialized health care. If you don't like it, get a job. Then they can buy whatever they like.

Unfortunately it seems that by the time good ideas get to Washington they can't get any traction. I am waiting to see Paul Ryans new budget proposal. It will either show that they got the message and they are doing something about it or that there is no hope for reforming Washington.

Here in Georgia they issue a debit card thing for groceries. Have to show ID when you swipe the card, but you just go shopping with card owner pick out what you want, they pay for the stuff. I think the going rate is still about $.50 on the dollar. When in high school, I worked at a store that would give you cash for the stamps, the store!!
Hell just this week in a nice Atlanta suburb, bunch of squaters were living in an empty house, a $300,000 empty house. The cops came nicely removed them, had the house boarded up, then the squaters broke back in and were pissed when the neighbors called the cops back out. It was their house.

Much of the thinking is effed up here. Take the situation in Japan. HERE ,there would be widespread looting and shit. THERE ,it is almost not heard of. WHY????? Because WE think we're entitled to free stuff we didn't earn. WE are FOS .

It's a habit passed from generation to generation......A case of here's an inch, but they take a mile.
When I was in grade school we lived across the street from Government projects. It used to piss me off to no end to see a large portion of the residents there driving better cars, wearing better clothes, and abusing better toys than my family and I had from my parents working for a living......
On a side bar about politics...........I've never understood why our elected officials aren't made to sit in there respected seats for a 40 hour week so they can vote on a single bill at a time. No bill with a dozen other special interest articles attached to it, just a single bill so "Plumber Joe" can see and understand it without the need of an attorney.........Stepping down from soapbox now.

The debit card makes the person getting the card do more work so I would think the amount sold off is lower. Sending specific food now means the person buying does not get what they want so it will further reduce the amount that can be sold. The recipient also has to cart whatever they sell from their house to wherever they are going to sell it.

Our entire political system is about pitting people against each other. Politicians use entitlements to get votes. They try to buy our votes with our money. When group B bitches about an entitlement Group A gets. The answer is not to look at the fairness of Group A's entitlement, the answer is to give Group B an entitlement so they will stop bitching. They propagate the attitude of entitlement. They propagate an us versus them attitude. The pendulum just keeps swinging farther left then farther right. We need officials who want to find a middle ground. We need them to make hard choices are where to cut government spending. When a group bitches about their entitlement being cut, ask 'What entitlement do you think we should cut?'. Cut that too.
Entitlements are not even limited to US citizens. The US government subsidies the cotton industry of Brazil. Why? Because they were bitching about the subsidy of US cotton growers. The subsidizing of the US cotton growers allowed US cotton to be sold outside the US lower than that of Brazil. So we were second hand subsidizing foreign textile industry by selling them cotton partially paid for by US tax dollars. Now we are paying Brazil who in turn sells their cotton to other countries.

You mean like the stimulus bill that funded every pet project that could never make it through on it's own merit? An example is the $30 million spent on Pelosi's pet project, a preserve for the salt water marsh mouse.
