I'm surprised you lasted as long as you did.
But can you honestly blame him?  :o Not.

Not at all. Thats my point. Its all about business, not actually helping the average builder.

FWIW,anyone from the edge forum is welcome here.
"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."

I see a HOWE'S Welding sign in the backround of the first pic.  Where you from?

To answer your question Boostinjdm, I live in Des Moines, and I'm a senior in Iowa State University's mechanical engineering program.  I also work in Ames, @ Howe's Welding and Metal Fabrication as a mechanical, design, welding engineer, I do a fair bit of managing too.

Originally I'm from Northern Iowa, near Mason City.  I noticed you are from Iowa/Minnesota.
See you all duneside.😎🤙

I knew that looked familiar.  I grew up in Ames,  my parents still live there and my brother is going to Iowa State for something.... I think he's on the five year plan.  You know the one where at the end you get a two year degree.  I talked to the owner once about the possibility of working there when I got out of school.  He was such a dick head, I am still half tempted to move back home and open up shop, just to try and take away some of his buisiness.  From the work I have seen, Howe's does do a good job.  Not knocking the quality, just the attitude I got.  How long you been in the area?

Edge forum was the 1st I joined, probably 3-4 years ago.  Would have built Pirannah had Doug been doing those parts then.  Shipping around the world was why I moved on.  Guess I'm still a member, been 6 months since I logged in.
You can keep your CHANGE, I'd like to keep my DOLLAR.
