YXZ Paddles
« on: October 11, 2018, 08:23:56 PM »
I took a wild shot on what paddle to get for the yxz's. I had read all sort of opinions and ,of course, there was no real consensus.  I bought these and I guess I did well. I was concerned it would be too much tire for the stock yxz's. The sand was still pretty damp but dry in the top 2" . I was really, really happy with how they climbed the tallest dunes, and how amazingly well they rode on the pavement getting to the trail. They would slide like a Funco.  :m  Best of all ,they live up to their name-Sand Slinger. LMAO LMAO LMAO Yup ,they damn sure do that. ;D ;D ;D ;D Ran 5 psi and will try 3-4  in the dry sand I hope we have but the wet stuff was a BLAST!

Depends on how wide a wheel I suppose. I used 10" wide. Slightly down on sidewall.

Gotta correct the above. The paddles don't wrap down the tire sidewalls. The paddles have a slight crown at 5psi.
