Cool, thanks.  All ordered up.  Should solve some future problems.   Close to being done with "phase one" and well, really just want it done at this point.  Few more weeks I suppose.

Kind of slow.  Would have been a perfect weekend to install fenders.  But nooooooooo....   Gosh I hate the wait.  They sure are quick to take them money though right?

Only thing to do was paint diff covers.  Lot of work for something designed to get bashed.  Oh well, fun project....

The wait continues for stuff that is ordered.

They came black PC.  The black paint was for minor touch up.  (Even  I have whoops moments)  Figured it would be tough to tape with the radius.  So, hand painted.

Ehhh, like I say fun project.

Looks like one of those bad ass, tricked out, shinny blacktop only 4x4.  I would say a couple coats of clear over those covers but any real offroadin will surely scratch em quickly.  If my wife saw them spiders under there she would smash them with a baseball bat.   rofl rofl

No Mall Crawler for me.   thumb down  Besdies the closest thing we have to a "mall" here is WalMart.

Not really going to beat on it too much until the underside armor is in place.  The diff covers are part of that process.

I figure I should be good on a 3 (based on 5) depending on how it is rated.  The break over on the JKU generally requires 35's and or lockers for much more.  Not in the mood to run 35's.  I really don't see how 1" of side wall aired down for that extra 1/2" of clearance is going to make that much difference?  Lockers I get.  Just want to keep as much reliability as possible.  So no lockers, less apt to go looking for trouble.

Going for more "trail" rather than "rock crawler."

I can just imagine the hair standing on end on the back of your neck. I don't think I've ever experienced yummi expressing being outright pissed off.

I am not pissed.   This is just fun for me at this point. The trouble for them is depending on how they elect to resolve it.  It either goes away or it escalates. The second leg of the first transaction is really problematic for them.   I already looked up their Agent of Service in Arizona.  Fraud is a tort.  Go figure.

Can't imagine how many folks they fxxk.  Whatever.

Will be curious to see the response and the tone they take.

They've always been like that ever since they had a simple little storefront out here in Burbank, Ca.  I gave up on them years ago for their lack of customer service to put it mildly.  Now that they've gone internet and don't have to look anyone in the eye it can only have gotten worse.

One of you guys post a link to them so we can be sure to steer clear of them.
