"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."

I have also been warned about hydrogen embrittlement in the zinc plating process. The company that does my zinc plating has recommended that I have them bake my axle parts after plating. For an additional fee of course. I've never had them do it, and have gotten away without it so far.

Well if you wouldn't abuse them they'd be fine! You know keep the buggy  in the parking lot as bitch bait. LOL!!

abuse/fun   I don't see the difference.
I've tried to bait a few in but my wife runs them off before I get to them.  ;D

seriously though, those spindles did not only bend at the shoulder but in the middle between the bearings and enemy's started cracking at the shoulder. we all know he wasn't abusing them he was testing them :m
it cost me alot of money and time to make/replace new chromoly spindles for all three rails. luckily no one got hurt, no thanks to the caring folks at prowlers.

I have all my parts alumacoated. because I have had 2 engineers tell me about the potential effects  on steel with the chrome plating process. I never asked for an explanation just took them for their word on that one.

Thanks for all the info; I have never heard about the chroming thing before. I was going to change out my whole front end out this winter, build better up-wrights. The good thing is that it broke at the Wright time and no one got hurt and the car in hole is ok. Thanks for the help.
