THis is a shout out for help from CAD gurus!!!!

 Im going to be building a buggy soon and want to design my own frame. It will be a two seater with a 600 and a honda trans for the FNR. I want to keep it compact and yet comfortable for two. I dont know jack bout drawing in cad and need someone to help me along a bit. I need to know what program to buy to draw with and need help designing it.

I am a mechanical engineer/cad drafter by trade.  I use Autodesk inventor for all modelling.  If you (or anyone else) wants something modeled then give me some details and I will draw it up.

Good morning all. I dont see why people get so lost in CAD. Ive been using it for many years now, even way before computers were common place. really it is sooo simple.. I mean CAD (Cardboard Aided Design) may seem hi tech but its not really..... just a good marking pen and a nice sharp pair of scissors........... oh dont forget the nice straight piece of cardboard........

I made no guarantees on the timing or quality of the work :)

Is a win-win as far as I see it as I don't have any real off road design experience...anything that I draw up for people will help me wrap my head around things, sort of gaining experience 2nd hand.  Not as good as first hand, but it is a start!

Thanks for the offer Dre but i but a set of plans and am in the begining stages of the build now. And very funny stuff about the card board!!!
