the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."

Yes was slow but very dusty, if you want any info on the box, no problem.

Well just a short update, took the buggy out for a ride on saturday and sheered off the six (inboard) bolts that give drive to the left rear wheel ???  I noticed that Doug has made a mod the the aluminum hubs that bolt to the Cv's, Keying them and not just relying on the bolts. Has anyone had a similar experience? I think the bolts must have come loose for them to shear off. :( here are a couple of pics )

What grade of bolt are you using?  Those bolts don't have a shoulder on them and most low grade five and below are like that. I would think that those bolts should be at the least a grade eight or better.  If they had worked lose they would show sign's of wear on the threaded area where they go Thur the hub from bashing about from side to side.

If I believe I cannot do something it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe that I can, then I acquire the ability to do it , even if I didn't have it at the beginning.

The bolts in the 1st picture look as Fast describe, all thread.  The 2nd pic, that bolt looks like the correct type.  Grade 8 + and remember loctite is buggy builds best friend.

Owie! Yes use Grade 8 SAE bolts not to be fully threaded. Cant say I have expierenced this or know of anyone who has. I designed my locking hubs to take the turbo busa thinking this may be a weak spot. I also increased the bolt pattern slightly and changed the size of the bolts from 5/16-NF (8mm) to 3/8-24. Might look into that as well.

I'll just set the limiter to 3500rpm that should help ;D I am going to increase the size to 10mm HT dome head bolts that should hold  ;)
