Why is it with every cuda build. The box tubing/frame is blue??   :o

Yeah Thanks everyone for your kind words, and Artie's right that's just the way it comes here in OZ! I think it's for preservation reasons, to help slow rust..

Your upper front a-arm mount in the back will cause issues that Tony will not acknowledge.  If you cut off the mounts and replace them with a set that have the hole 3/4" higher, your tie rods will not foul on your a-arms.  If you want, I can send you the CAD drawing of a set that I made up.  Just a suggestion though.  Doug Heim gave me that bit of advice and I drew up a set right after he told me of the issue.  I had already welded mine just the way you have done.  I had to cut them off, and weld up the new ones.  It was worth not having that issue.

They claim it's easier to work with than round.
(for the novice builder)
I do like it for the lower cockpit area.
When I eventually do my own design I'll probably make the lower cockpit area square.

Hi Adam, yeah I agee here and other issues besides, for example the upper arm has a quick adjuster for caster (is this needed? How often do you adjust your caster once set up?) which has a free thread (without lock nut) which will move back and forth under the suspension loads and as this is an inclined plane eventually has to cause trouble.

The other thing about the upper arms is the issue of it being a triangle and having fixed mounts. As you utilise the caster adjuster you spread the arms mount points and they bind in the chassis mounts (this puts side loads on the heim joints). Its exacerbated on the Cuda as the foot of the triangle is quite large. Unfortunately Tony wont enter into discussion on any of these points (as I have discovered).
