Doug,
No bushing or crush sleeve required. Rod end id and bolt on size. It all gets torqued down. There is no wear on this connection.

yep, I go with that. I think I like this idea a whole lot. I saw Dougs pics earlier (was that on the edge site Doug or Minibuggy?) and wasnt fussed about the heim allowing the upper tube to turn a little at  times... this solves that issue and just jumps off the screen at me...

I spend more time making parts than actually enjoying my buggy. I cant really say how comparable it is but just thinking about it I would imagine it has to be an improvment right?

And this way you can tighten the bolt down without worrying about drag on the pivot. This also keeps the bolt from spinning or having to use "locks" on the head of the bolt.

You sure about that? I was reading on that place from Oz that we are a bunch of wannabe builders here and wouldn't know a thing about real buggies.
"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."

Where did you see that? Im on that site everyday and must have missed it. Well for a young Forum I dont think we need to worry about what others think  ::). The fact is that there are alot of great machines and builds being built by members of this forum. Just take the time to look around!

That's what I was refering to, the fact that you said you don't get time to get out in your buggy anymore cause of all the work! And as I said, I've been looking at your part range and it looks great!!!!!!!!!!
